Area Surveying

If you want to accurately measure the area of a building for your project, we offer precise area measurements with 3D laser scanning, tachymetry and 3D mobile mapping technology. The area lists and floor plans with area annotations are drafted according to the norm you require, e.g. WoFlV, DIN277 or gif e.V.

Area Surveying

The preparation of area estimates is part of our core business. Area calculations are required as the basis for floor plans of apartment leases, tenancy agreements, purchase contracts, as the basis for ancillary cost accounting, building applications or profitability calculations. The on-site surveying can be carried out by 3D laser scanning, tachymetry, analogue surveying or 3D mobile mapping system or a combination of these surveying devices, whereby the measuring method is selected to suit the task and the budget.

If the simplest, schematic area measurements are to be created, a mobile mapping system is extremely cost-effective. Manual surveying is used when no digital data collection methods are to be used due to EU-Data privacy regulation. The tachymeter produces very precise single-point measurements and can be used, for example, for site plans or for reference coordinate systems. The 3D laser scanner meets higher technical demands as it makes deformations of facades, walls, supporting structures or floor slabs visible and can be the measurement basis for very precise as-built plans and 3D models. On construction sites and in buildings in shell construction with partial access and inaccessible areas, the 3D laser scanner can be used to measure around the obstacles.
